At Golden Era Clinic in Bangor, North Wales, I combine the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern therapeutic approaches, using acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping and phototherapy to support your body's natural healing processes and restore balance.
Using ultra-fine needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points, I work to support the body's natural ability to restore balance and encourage the smooth flow of Qi (energy). Acupuncture stimulates sensory nerves and influences the nervous system, encouraging the release of natural pain-relieving chemicals such as endorphins, helping to regulate inflammatory responses and supporting healthy circulation. These responses can help to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, improve mobility and promote relaxation and overall wellbeing.
Moxibustion applies gentle therapeutic heat to encourage the smooth flow of Qi, warm and nourish the body, and support circulation. Fire cupping helps release muscular tightness by creating suction on the skin, which may encourage blood flow, reduce tension and promote deep relaxation. I also offer phototherapy (red, blue and near-infrared LED light therapy) to help reduce pain and inflammation, support tissue repair and aid recovery.

Specialised Skin Treatments
At Golden Era Clinic, I offer specialised skin health treatments for a wide range of skin concerns, maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and patient care.
I provide treatments to support conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and impaired skin healing. Using the Dermalux Tri-Wave MD phototherapy system, I deliver clinically proven LED light therapy to help reduce inflammation, accelerate skin repair, stimulate collagen production, and promote healthier skin.
I also offer cosmetic acupuncture, a natural, non-surgical treatment that stimulates collagen and elastin production to improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity, while helping to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
For the safe removal of benign skin lesions, I provide cryotherapy treatment for skin tags, warts, verrucae, sun spots, age spots, milia, and other benign lesions, delivering accurate and effective results with minimal discomfort and downtime.
These treatments work by supporting the skin’s natural repair processes. Cosmetic acupuncture uses controlled stimulation to encourage collagen and elastin activity, while LED phototherapy uses specific light wavelengths to support cellular repair, reduce inflammation and promote healthier skin. Cryotherapy precisely freezes targeted lesions, causing controlled destruction of the unwanted tissue, which the body then naturally removes as the area heals.
